Dr. Lynda Dean-Duru founded Ashburn Children’s Dentistry (ACD) with a vision to deliver exceptional pediatric dental care rooted in prevention, compassion, and cutting-edge techniques.
ACD became the first practice in Northern Virginia to introduce laser dentistry, revolutionizing how pediatric dental treatments and infant oral health issues were approached.
Dr. Lynda pioneered laser infant tongue and lip tie releases, empowering mothers to successfully breastfeed and improving oral function for countless babies.
Dr. Lynda’s practice evolved to include proactive and preventative care, focusing on craniofacial growth and early interceptive orthodontics to address oral health before symptoms manifested.
Recognizing the impact of airway health on overall well-being, ACD expanded services to include myofunctional therapy, airway evaluations, and advanced laser therapies.
Dr. Krystle Dean-Duru officially joined the practice after rigorous training at Columbia University and Virginia Commonwealth University, bringing expertise in craniofacial development, laser-assisted therapies, and a holistic approach to care.
Her leadership further expanded ACD’s mission to integrate wellness into pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Lynda’s personal health journey inspired a renewed focus on integrative care. After overcoming health challenges with a multidisciplinary approach, she committed to making these solutions accessible to others, combining oral health with whole-body wellness.
